Chael Sonnen joins ESPN

Once again the American gangster comes up on top. As soon as we thought that this man was slowly simmering away into the distance, he comes back with a pop.

ESPN has just announced that former UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen will be joining them as an MMA analyst.

As most know Chael Sonnen was let go by the UFC and by Fox Sports as a fighter and an analyst respectively, due to being caught using PED’s during his time with the UFC on multiple occasions.

This is what Chael had to say after the news came out:

“In all seriousness, to ESPN, to Disney, to the Hearst Corporation and to all the viewers … you’re welcome. From one industry leader to another, I look forward to the opportunity of bringing my stories, insight and unique perspective of mixed martial arts to the network.”

Chael Sonnen’s first job at ESPN will be to do commentary on UFC 180, at ESPN’s “SportsCenter” this coming weekend. Cheal Sonnen has always had a colorful personality which seems to attract big TV Networks¬†and more importantly the MMA fan. There will be many MMA fans that will look forward to Chael’s coverage as he has been missed greatly around the mainstream MMA scene.
